Terry County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, release a person, or pull an official booking record. For those matters, contact the Terry County office, court, or agency that created the record.

Official Terry County Record Contacts

The Terry County Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center are the direct official contacts for current detention questions and county booking-record routing. Administrative hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding county holidays. Detention operations are described as available around the clock. For an emergency, call 911 rather than using a roster, request form, or contact page.

Written public-information routing: Terry Sheriff contact page

Use the route that matches the record and custody stage. Plain-text messages to the sheriff contact page are not a secure way to send sensitive information, and the page is not monitored at all times. A written request for an existing record should be specific about the booking number, date range, agency, or record sought.

  • Current custody: search the official Terry County current roster, then call detention staff for a time-sensitive confirmation.
  • Recent release: use the sheriff’s separate 48 Hour Release view. It is a short recent-release window, not a complete booking archive.
  • Booking record or photograph: send a narrow written Texas Public Information Act request through the Sheriff contact route and ask the Officer for Public Information to identify another custodian if needed.
  • Brownfield Police Department record: use the city’s public-information request form for a record held by that department.
  • County-level case record: consult the Terry County Clerk for the county-record path and current procedure.
  • District-level criminal case: use the Terry County District Clerk for local docket and case-follow-up information.
  • State or federal custody: the TDCJ offender search, BOP locator, and ICE locator are separate systems and do not replace the Terry booking roster.
